Who We Are

For over 50 years, Head Start of Northeastern Nevada has provided comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services for young children and their families. We are accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and licensed through the Department of Health and Human Services - Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH). All of our staff are CPR certified, have passed comprehensive background checks, and complete at least 24 hours of training annually. We have fun, safe, and educational programs that your children will love.

  • Offer freshly prepared meals that meet your child’s dietary needs and nutritional requirements.

Who Qualifies For Our Program?

Head Start is free for qualifying families. Families may qualify for our program in several ways, including:

  • Developmental Disabilities
  • Parent Military Deployment
  • Mental Health Needs
  • Homelessness
  • Foster Care
  • Low Income
